I got the same thing last tonight on my laptop

cat messages | grep pulse > /home/jaakan/pulse.log
Linux jms1000 2.6.24-4-generic #1 SMP Mon Jan 14 18:19:11 UTC 2008 x86_64 GNU/Linux

I saw that right after audio stopped working
 and I saw this on my desktop
