I notice the bug description mentions:

  PulseList: Error: command ['pacmd', 'list'] failed with exit code 1: No PulseAudio daemon running, or not running as session daemon.

Justin (and anyone else who finds that the 'pulseaudio' process is missing), please try adding:

  realtime-scheduling = no

to /etc/pulse/daemon.conf and reboot.
