No change - copying the file in the same dir adding .bak is sufficient right- or will this be read as a 2nd conf?

+ iirc this is the line i had to add with the workaround - is there a way to ensure that both the 90-pulseaudio.rules as well as the "dell-dock-tb16-usb-audio.conf" match the vanilla ones from upstream?

@Daniel - Could have been the upgrade to bionic ... Something within the last month if not weeks
