Bug Description

While on the source tree src/modules/alsa/mixer/profile-sets/90-pulseaudio.rules references a config file for the native-instruments-traktor-audio2 device:

ATTRS{idVendor}=="17cc", ATTRS{idProduct}=="041d", ENV{PULSE_PROFILE_SET}="native-instruments-traktor-audio2.conf"

this .conf file is missing in modules/alsa/mixer/profile-sets/native-instruments-traktor-audio2.conf and thus not shipped. Reportedly [1] it had been working in the past, so it might be that it got lost after a rename or deletion?

Otherwise, it can be generated from the .conf file provided in [1]

The file in question was added in 4.0, but it was not shipped in the release tarball (unintentional omission). The bug that caused the omission has been already fixed, and the 5.0 tarball will have the file.

According to the upstream report this bug should have been fixed in PulseAudio 5 (Ubuntu 14.10 and later). So please upgrade to the latest Ubuntu version and re-test.
