All graphical applications that need root access use gksu / pkexec, so this will call su (without -l option).

So do you think a wrapper für 'su' will solve most of the issues? Please don't be so naive to think more complexity will solve anything, there's already too much of it! [rant] Reducing complexity should always be a big goal. [/rant]
