Ah yes. Now I can imagine what went wrong. For some files the patch does nothing. I’m not sure why, but I have a hunch that it is related to what type of fonts are embedded. So on these oddball files you always get gray antialias.

Ilja, I reported that exact bug in Gnome Bugzilla. Please go there and confirm this annoyance.
