Bug Description
The printer is a HP Deskjet 3820 and I'm using the HPIJS driver From my googling, it seems to not be restricted to this printer. Many Deskjets seem to have this problem. Both evince and xpdf print only the top half of the last line of all the pdfs I've tried (all academic articles) and does not print all of the outer lines that travel around the margins in the test page. I wish I had a scanner to demonstrate the problem. I would have guessed that these margin problem would be due to mistaken page size settings, but its set to "letter" everywhere (I'm in the US).
For some reason, however, acroread prints it these last lines perfectly.

Do you mean not restricted to that driver or printer? I'm struggling to find mention of the problem, maybe my google-fu is weak. Do you have an example search query?
What version of libpoppler1 do you have installed?
