I've got what I assume is a layered PDF here: it's a standard form, but it's
been filled out with text on top of that. The additional text doesn't render,
only the original form.

Additionally, when printing it (HP PSC1210, CUPS with the GimpPrint drivers,
using HPOJ), fonts are really wack (looks like normal-weight monospace, as
opposed to a bold, sans serif, variable-spaced font), and some elements just
don't print. If I still have it around, I can probably scan in the printed copy
to show you.

pdf2ps processes this PDF just fine, and the supplied PS prints correctly. xpdf
3.01 prints this correctly also.

I'm using Poppler 0.4.2-0ubuntu6 (libpoppler0c2, from Ubuntu), and Evince
0.4.0-0ubuntu4 (again, Ubuntu). If you think CVS will help, I'm happy to give
that a shot.

Unfortunately I can't distribute it due to the information that's layered on
top, but krh, please contact me privately and I can provide you with a copy.
