Bug Description

Binary package hint: evince

There are some problems of selection, I discovered in a pdf generated from latex with pdflatex :
- one in \tableofcontents (see attachment)
- one in textselection when special characters (à,é...)

Both work correctly in acroread.

I attach 2 screenshots of the problem, and my pdf file.

Confirmed on Hardy with recently updated environment.
I have the same problem with hungarian special characters (öüóőúéáűí).

I encountered this select problem in some pdfs in Chinese code. when i select some chinese word by mouse, these words change to other. but some Chinese pdf files are ok.

my env is ubuntu9.10 ,document viewer 2.28.1
