Binary package hint: plymouth

During the boot, I get the plymouth ubuntu splash screen and then the computer freezes. I have to press lt+SysRq+k to restart X and get the login screen. If I remove the "splash" option in Grub, everything works correctly...

use plymouth 0.8.1-4
