Hello Jan,

I have build .deb on Kubuntu-15.10 applying your patches to plasma-nm_5.4.2-0ubuntu1 sources.

Everything works fast after that:
  - on login
  - clicking on systray applet
  - starting kde5-nm-connection-editor from shell
