Is there any reason that Ubuntu no longer updates the PHP_EXTRA_VERSION part of PHP_VERSION - see https://www.php.net/manual/en/reserved.constants.php#constant.php-extra-version

I found some code in the debian package build script that attempts to update EXTRA_VERSION, but it seems to no longer be working since PHP 7.4 - the Ubuntu Bionic PHP_VERSION was "7.2.24-0ubuntu0.18.04.13" but Focal is "7.4.3" and Jammy is "8.1.2"
