Hi Ron, this is a temporary issue that occasionallly comes up if some other configuration script is accessing the debconf database:

debconf: DbDriver "config": /var/cache/debconf/config.dat is locked by another process: Resource temporarily unavailable

Please try your updates/upgrades again and they should work just fine.
