I am also facing this error now at the time of writing this post. I have been trying to sync Ubuntu Touch Phablet source for last 3 days and the same issue again and again. Fetching projects: 55% (75/135) Fetching project asop/platform/system/media
error: RPC failed; HTTP 503 curl The requested URL returned error: 503 Service Unavailable
fatal: The remote end hung up unexpectedly.

and the similar errors continues for other repositories system/media, frameworks/av etc
