For the Reiner SCT devices the problem can be solved by:

1. adding a group "cyberjack" with an arbitrary GID
   -> sudo groupadd cyberjack

2. adding the users allowed to use the chipcard terminal to this group
   -> sudo usermod -aG cyberjack <user>
