There is one other issue: Debian's pcre2 isn't really using what I consider "best practice" packaging [specifically, it does not use source format 3.0 (quilt) ] which makes doing security updates more of a pain and is my excuse for having not fixed the outstanding pcre2 security issues in stable Ubuntu releases.

I did set up trackers. Except for 'git', I don't think we've made much progress on converting packages at all.
