Bug Description
Binary package hint: pavucontrol
Pavucontrol's window is determined dynamically to accomodate all controls, including stream labels. That can lead to window (much) larger that screen width, which makes it difficult to manipulate the controls (moving window left and right with alt-drag and such). The attached screenshot shows this -- it was combined from 2 screenshots, as the pertion beyond screen was not shot.
Proper solution would be to limit the width somehow and ellipsisize the stream name.
Running up-to-date karmic; pavucontrol 0.9.8+git200907

This affects me too, and it is really annoying. If I use a virtual simultanous output device of pulseaudio, pavucontrol gets wider than my screen. This is very annoying, but should be easy to fix. I think most of the users which will use simulatnous output will encounter this problem
