I don't know about a respin of the installer CD, but I was able to get it
to work off the existing installer CD by:
1. Boot into the Live CD.
2. Get a network connection.
3. "sudo apt-get update"
4. "sudo apt-get install libparted0"
5. Start installer.

Install worked fine for me after this point.
