Parted crashes while trying to print the partition table:

kubuntu@kubuntu:~$ sudo parted /dev/sda
GNU Parted 2.3
Using /dev/sda

(parted) p

Error during translation: Invalid or incomplete multibyte or wide character

And when trying it for the live USB drive:

kubuntu@kubuntu:~$ sudo parted /dev/sdb
