The screensaver lock option doesn't work anymore after a while.

After a normal startup/reboot, screen locking works fine, but after a while (I don't have a precise time or action) it doesn't work: screensaver works, but no password prompt is provided (it behaves like "Lock screen when screensaver is active" is unchecked).
