Please backport owncloud-client 1.8.1+dfsg-
Reason for the backport:

OwnCloud 8.1 was released on July 7th 2015. This version prevents owncloud-client from syncing files if the version of the client is below 1.7. This restriction can be manually disabled, but that might not be feasible for every OwnCloud installation.
Without this backport the essential functionality of owncloud-client is lost for all Ubuntu release before wily when the server has been upgraded to the most recent stable release.
