Still a problem with 14.04.02

This work-around works for me .... but I have no idea what the side effects may be:

Open /etc/NetworkManager/NetworkManager.conf in an editor and change
dns=dnsmasq
to this:
#dns=dnsmasq

Then, restart NetworkManager:
sudo service network-manager restart
