Binary package hint: openoffice.org

Using openoffice impress in ubuntu feisty beta amd64.

When I try to find a word such as "mpeg" or "asdf" in the search (find) feature of openoffice's help window, openoffice crashes (main window and help window go away). I got it to happen several times.

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Since you reported your bug a newer version of the OpenOffice.org package is available. Could you please retest with the latest version and let us know if this is still an issue? Thanks in advance.

Using 2.2.0-1ubuntu3 version of openoffice in feisty, I still get a crash... but the auto crash report went away. I just got quiet termination of all oo.o windows. In the terminal emulator window which I started oo.o via "ooimpress", I got backtrace junk which I've attached.
