I can confirm this. I think that this bug should be given a high priority, as one is completely unable to make a report in OOo base without it.

For anyone who needs a working OOo, remove openoffice.org and then install it from these packages:

For x86: http://ftp.linux.cz/pub/localization/OpenOffice.org/devel/680/OOF680_m5/Build-1/OOo_OOF680_m5_LinuxX86_install_en-US_deb.tar.gz

Or for AMD64: http://ftp.linux.cz/pub/localization/OpenOffice.org/devel/680/OOF680_m5/Build-1/OOo_OOF680_m5_LinuxX86-64_install_en-US_deb.tar.gz
