Bug Description

Binary package hint: openoffice.org

When hardware acceleration is selected (only possible in go-oo from Ubuntu repositories, not in OO from sun) squareroots are displayed grossly distorted (only) in presentation mode.
Happens at least in Maverick, Lucid, karmic and possibly further previous versions of Ubuntu.

Seams to be a bug of the Openoffice-formula editor package.

No attachment since easily reproduced: Insert Formula object, type in something containing a squareroot, start presentation.

Workaround to deselect "hardware acceleration" is not an option in maverick, since this grossly aggravates a bug concerning custom animations.
