For me, Panticz's fix does not work.
Using OOo 3.2.1 from Lucid-proposed.
I edited /usr/lib/.../Recovery.xcu to "false", and deleted ~/.../Recovery.xcu, then rebooted.
Still can't logout when quickstart is active and some document has been opened.

I'd be very happy to see an official solution since I installed Lucid a dozen times on my friend's and family's computers...

The problem doesn't seem to occur on Xubuntu though.
