I installed Ubuntu9.10 in Spanish in a virtual machine. I can confirm these errors.
Ctrl+B was set as negrita (bold) in (Herramientos->Personalizar->teclado). I modified this key
as follows : (Select in Funciones Área : Editar, then in Función : Buscar y reemplazar and then
press Modificar and the shortcut will be redefined)
Of course, this is a bug in OpenOffice as after installing Ctrl+B was indicated as an editor-key (find and replace)
and was on the other defined as Bold. Note that when Ctrl+B is disabled, that then Ctrl+B disappears in the
editor-tab and when it is re-enabled again as a find_and_replace-shortcut it appears back in the dialog.
