Comment 60 for bug 450569

Please forgive me - I did not wish to invoke your ire. I was frustrated and kinda got caught in a loop of unsuccessfully trying to install and sending repetitive bug reports.

AS I WROTE BEFIRE:

Kill any process created by installer when performing this update /
upgrade through synaptics or software center or update manager ...

Every time you got error about opened OOo process, there is process
named as your update package in PROCESS tab in SYSTEM MONITOR! This is
the reason why xkill may fail and update cannot continue properly.
