I will test it when 8.10 is released and I have upgraded. Luckily its release falls at a weekend and I will have time to do the upgrade.
However, this seems to me to be a pretty important fix for small business users who may wish to opt for the stability of the 8.04 LTS release. I would like to hear from Sofie and Mark O'Brien (TheMOB) who were the ones who have a business need for a fix. Are they OK with upgrading just to get this fix? If they are not, what is the possibility of patching 8.04?
