The attached file demonstrates the problem. It's an X,Y scatter plot with "Sort by X values" checked. The plot is correct, but if you double click the chart, then hover over a data point a tool tip pops up showing an X,Y value different from the coordinates of the data point. I believe it's using the data point number from the sorted list to index into the original unsorted data.
