Open.office doesn't start when documents are in the desktop area (desktop folder).

Bug Description
Binary package hint: openoffice.org
If my documents are in the "desktop" area, Open.office doesn't open when I click on them. It doesn't happen when the documents are in other folder, just in "desktop" folder.
PS: it happens just with Microsoft extensions of files (doc, ppt, etc)

Kindly provide the following information :
1) the errors/stack dumps(if any) while opennig the file.
2) does this happen only when you open files which are created/saved from Microsoft Office?
3) What is the version of the Java(JRE) in your system?
4) How are you running OpenOffice - via the command prompt or by clicking on the file?
5) What happens when you start OpenOffice and open the document by going along File > Open File > Choose File - does the problem persist?
This will greatly help us in tracking down your problem. Feel free to continue to report any other bugs you may find.
