Anonymous, remove that again and install the Ubuntu-debs for OOo 3.

Add this to the end of your /etc/apt/sources.list

#OpenOffice
deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/openoffice-pkgs/ubuntu intrepid main

..then 'aptitude update' and reinstall openoffice.
