Sure, but it doesn't crash anymore when opening this file. Instead, sometimes OpenOffice closes, then wake with proposal to recover the .xls file. And this is a typical behaviour since Gutsy release - very often OpenOffice vanishes and then is waking up, offering to recover the .xls-files.
