libmesh: mpi-defaults petsc scotch slepc vtk
These packages have been rebuilt against openmpi 1.5.4 here:

Four FTBFS; two are existing issues (as seen in the recent archive rebuild test) which need to be resolved but are not directly linked to this upgrade.
mpi4py needs to be investigated and resolved.
free++ (amd64) times out during the build - again needs to be investigated and resolved.
