Comment 3 for bug 6867

Hi,
since the package maintainer hasn't said anything to this bugreport at all
(at least from what is viewable in the bug tracking system), I would
like him to just make a short statement as to the status of the bug
resolution.

Even something along the lines of "Can't reproduce, no clue
and no time right now" would be nice to have, since this bug is really
annoying and persistant. I'd hate to download openldap, compile and
install everything by hand to have the bug resolved in debian tomorrow,
but I'd also hate having to wait with a bandaged network for weeks
without knowing what's up.

It's been 40 days since the bug was first reported and considered
"grave", so some information from the maintainer would be nice to have.
