Apparently the Cisco clients will allow you to type in a value that does not appear in the drop-down menu (I know of others using this client, but I am not.) It's possible that this connection configuration will be broken when we upgrade the Cisco clients to a newer version. Does that answer your question addressed to my post? I think that the intention was to "hide" the authgroup so that people didn't select it accidentally.
