Hi I have three AFS-servers running Ubuntu 12.04 in an AFS cell. The first one updated just fine, the next two failed. apt-get purge on openafs-dbserver (remove was not enough) and installing the package again solved it. I found no other way to recover from the failure (I tried dpkg-reconfigure, upgrade again and holding back the upgrade of openafs-client. No luck)
