Ok, so I'm trying with manual steps, no automation involved. I've converted ova to ovf, then in ovf modified password to ubuntu

And the uploaded vdmk + ovf through UI.

However when I start the VM I'm not able to login with ubuntu/ubuntu. Is there something what am I missing?

I've attached vmware.log, if you can spot something wrong in that please let me know.
