Upgrading to the version 0.4.2 solves various problem of files reception people reported with intrepid.
The files are available in my ppa (=> https://edge.launchpad.net/~bmillemathias/+archive or in http://ppa.launchpad.net/bmillemathias/ubuntu/pool/main/o/obex-data-server/)
