I'm a little confused about this bug, as it seems to describe several issues over some time. I believe that none of the issues are present in Hardy, but would like confirmation from the reporters that I have accurately understood the problem.

The following three issues seem described:
1) Problems receiving files sent to the computer
2) Problems sending files from the computer
3) Problems browsing files on a remote device via bluetooth.

Description of my actions to attempt to repliate the issues from a base ubuntu-desktop install, with no adjustments to the default bluetooth configuration:
A) Initiate bluetooth pairing from the remote device
B) When prompted enter the PIN on the computer
C) Attempt to send a file from the remote device
D) In response to a "Connection Terminated" message, right-click the bluetooth applet, open Prefrences, and select "Receive files from remote devices".
E) Attept to send file from the remote device again
F) Verify successful reception to desktop
G) RIght click a different file on the desktop, select "Send to...", Bluetooth, remote device name, unpacked
H) Verify receipt of sent file on remote device
I) RIght-click the bluetooth applet, open "Browse Device", select the remote device, and see the remote device contents in Nautilus.

In summary, it seems to work for me. If someone experiencing issues could confirm that the procedure above does not work for them, and specifically where it breaks, it may be that this is a soluable bug. Otherwise, I'm tempted to mark it "Fix Released", based on various updates that have happened to the bluetooth stack, and it working for me in 8.04 (+updates), despite the clear confirmation from many that it was once a problem.
