Comment 47 for bug 286424

I can confirm that the crashing behavior as originally reported in this bug, and the permissions issue reported later in the comments, still exist in Jaunty beta as of 15-Feb-09.

Jaunty prompted me to report the crash, and I did so (as bug 329742) but it was rejected by the apport retracing service and the bug report was marked invalid. I made that bug report public so the crash dump and original xorg.conf are available to anyone interested in this problem.
