Nothing happend:

vadi@gooseberry:~$ sudo nano /etc/apport/crashdb.conf
[sudo] password for vadi:
vadi@gooseberry:~$ nvidia-settings ^C
vadi@gooseberry:~$ cat /etc/apport/crashdb.conf | grep problem_types
        # 'problem_types': ['Bug', 'Package'],
vadi@gooseberry:~$ nvidia-settings

Segmentation fault (core dumped)
vadi@gooseberry:~$ ls /var/crash/
vadi@gooseberry:~$

So I purged apport and apport-gtk to remove and config files and reset any
possible "don't show me the crash again" settings, reinstalled them both,
but it still did not come up.
