i really dont understand why ubuntu and in general linux never can work like a real OS without hassle and problems? all of the users are facing 1000 of problems everyday. today everything is ok. tomorrow after a update your graphic card wont work anymore. they will release a patch for it then your network is not working after solving the network problem the unity is not working then the wireless ans this story is continued...
i really dont understand this. i was talking to one of the guys who is in the development team i asked him the same question and he said "its because the hardware companies are not releasing drivers for linux" then the question is why you dont cooperate with them? why if we install MCOSX on a none-apple desktop or laptop its always working good and there is no problem but when we are using linux, we look like bunch of soldiers and the battle field and every second is like hell.
