Nouveau is no option in my case as it does not detect my monitors
capabilities correctly and will not do any resolution above 640x480.
Native is 1280x800. Nice idea, but problems at least as tedious as the
ones with nvidia closed source.

On a side note, the 295.40 nvidia driver works flawlessly on my desktop
PC with 8600gts
