I also see this problem at an other machine that runs a legacy version of the driver (173.14.20) and the problem is I don't even know what triggers it, the one users is doing it's own business and suddenly the other's X session crashes (my first idea was to disable the screensaver, it's not that [could it be the power save?] )
I installed 185.18. 36-0ubuntu1~ ppa1 from http:// ppa.launchpad. net/nvidia- vdpau/ppa/ ubuntu, and I get a similar crash:
