For those having issues with nouveau, I discovered on a clean oneiric->precise install (because of unavailable non-pae liveCd), that my issues with nouveau had disapeard, beautiful screen, clean cursor etc..., although poor perfs... I don't know how this happened, but after checking I learnt the driver used is vesa ! I don't know how to use vesa on my ugly system. A pity precise follows the win7 not supporting these ~old cards (mine V28).
