You'll want to keep the current series (185), but you should be able to purge any of the following packages that are installed on your system. Use your favorite package manager to strip these out:
The nvidia-96 series (including nvidia-glx-96) is for older cards / computers. But from what I see on the nvidia website, your card should be supported by the latest drivers.
