So, four months passed since my last post and no one answered.

I confirm that patched Nvidia 340.108 drivers supplied by Butterfly (kelebek333) at https://launchpad.net/~kelebek333/+archive/ubuntu/nvidia-legacy work very well till kernel 5.17.x but not beyond.

The site https://nvidia.if-not-true-then-false.com/patcher/NVIDIA-340xx/ has got new patches kernel 6.x now hoping that some willing programmers want to compile the drivers with the new patches as the kelebek-butterfly repository seems to be dead ...
