NO! Don't give up! You've come so far already. I know how important your cat is to you, as it seems like it was a huge support for you. You're not fighting anymore. You can do this!
I know it's not the same, but I had similar thoughts when my dad passed away. We were fairly close, and he was the only person in my immediate family who treated me like a human being, aside from my son. When he passed, I felt so alone, and that there was no point in living, except to make sure my son was taken care of. I was extremely depressed, and had to start telling myself, "Would my dad want this for me?" No. He would want me to be happy. I'm sure your cat would want you to be happy. Be strong for those who did/do actually love you, even if those loved ones are few in number. It is heartbreaking, depressing, probably the worst thing to experience. It will take time to heal. But don't throw your life away yet. You've just begun to truly live it.
