i just realised that my comment sounded like i was complaining about something. I apologise for that.
I only meant that it looked like there were so many similar bugs alike but all different at the same time and therefore it was unlikely that we could get it fixed in a reasonable period of time, provided that i use kubuntu every day and it hangs no less that once a day and even a week is a lot of time for me.
Anyway... I've tried applying all of the solutions that have been proposed on those bugs you posted, but none has worked so far for me, the system keeps hanging at least once a day.
